Samsung users can easily connect their Samsung Health app directly to Count.It. If you run into issues syncing your steps or activity data, follow the troubleshooting steps below.
Step 1: Confirm Samsung Health Is Connected in Count. It
Make sure your Count. It app and Samsung Health are updated to the latest version in the Google Play Store and Galaxy Store/settings respectively.
Open the Count. It app, tap the menu (three horizontal lines at the top left), and tap Trackers.
Make sure Samsung Health is listed as connected.
If it's not syncing, try toggling the connection off, then back on.
Step 2: Confirm Samsung Health Permissions
Open the Samsung Health app.
On the Home screen, tap the three dots menu icon at the top right of the screen.
Tap Settings → Apps.
You should see Count. It Journey in the list. Be sure that all the permissions listed are granted. To be sure, you can toggle off and then on again the All Permissions switch.
Step 3: Confirm Android-Level Activity Permissions
If permissions are missing at the system level, Count. It may not be able to access your movement data.
Go to your phone’s Settings.
Security & Privacy → Privacy → Permissions Manager → Physical Activity.
Find both Samsung Health and Count. It in the list and make sure permission is set to “Allow”.
Still Not Syncing?
Make sure you’ve logged steps or exercise data during the challenge window.
Restart your phone and re-open Count. It to trigger a sync.
