Google Fit is a popular fitness tracking app on Android, and Count. It supports a direct integration. If your activity isn’t syncing, here are the steps to get things flowing again.
✅ Step 1: Confirm Google Fit Is Connected in Count. It
Open the Count.It app.
Go to Settings → Trackers.
Make sure Google Fit is listed as connected.
If it's not syncing, try toggling the connection off, then back on.
🔐 Step 2: Confirm Google Fit Permissions
Open the Google Fit app.
Tap your profile picture (top right), then go to Settings → Manage Connected Apps.
You should see Count. It Journey in the list.
Tap it to confirm that necessary permissions are granted (especially for activity data).
⚙️ Step 3: Confirm Android-Level Activity Permissions
If permissions are missing at the system level, Count. It may not be able to access your movement data.
Go to your phone’s Settings.
Navigate to:
Security & Privacy → Permissions Manager → Physical ActivityFind Count. It in the list and make sure it’s set to “Allow”.
🧠 Still Not Syncing?
Make sure you’ve logged steps or exercise data during the challenge window.
Google Fit does not sync in the background as frequently as Health Connect. Open Count. It regularly to prompt updates.
Restart your phone and re-open Count. It to trigger a sync.
