There are two ways to log your challenge activity on Count.It.
Count.It can connect to most popular fitness tracking apps, (e.g. Fitbit, Apple Health, etc.) Once connected, activity data related to your challenge will automatically "sync" to Count.It from your fitness tracker. (See: What fitness trackers sync with Count.It?)
If your Group Admin has enabled manual data entry for your challenge, you can also enter your data directly into the Count.It app.

Adding Activity via the Count.It App
When "manual data entry" is turned on for a challenge, you can add your activity with a few clicks, right from your challenge screen, or from your personal logs screen. On either page, tap the button with the "+" icon at the bottom right of your screen:
On the next screen, choose your activity category. Your challenge may only involve steps, or perhaps only exercise, but some "combination" challenges will include more than one activity category, and even daily wellness goals.
In this example, we'll select "Exercise."
If you select exercise, you'll be prompted to choose one of 139 different workout types. Not to worry, you can easily search for it, and, once selected, your favorite activities will show up at the top of the screen.
Once you select your activity, input the start time and end time. For some activities, such as biking or swimming, you can also enter a distance. (In some challenges you will earn points for fitness activities based on time, while others may use distance.)
To spice things up, you can add a description and even one or more images. Don't be afraid to share your triumphs and defeats with your friends and co-workers!
Once you're done, just tap the save button, and your activity will be added to your logs for any running challenges for which the given activity earns points!

If you prefer to keep all your fitness logs in one place, you can also enter data manually into your connected fitness app.
Deleting Activity
Deleting an Auto-Sync'd Activity
If you want to delete activity that has sync'd to your Count.It logs from a connected fitness tracker, you must delete that activity on the fitness app. You can not delete it on Count.It, as the activity would be restored on the next activity sync!
Deleting a Manual Entry Activity
Once you have added an activity, you can edit some parts of it, i.e. any attached images and/or the description. You can not edit the activity type, dates, or distance.
Thus, if you need to make a change, just delete your first entry, and create a new one. To delete one of your "manual entries," follow these steps.
Go to your challenge logs page, and tap on the card for the activity entry that you would like to delete.
On the "activity detail" screen, tap the edit ("pencil") icon at the top right of the screen.
On the "Edit Activity" screen, scroll down to the bottom, and you will see the "Delete" button. Tap that to delete the activity, which will remove it from your logs, and remove all earned points from your account.
