How do I log activity or add a workout on Count.It

Count.It is designed to make it easy and painless for you to log your wellness activity.

There are two ways to log your challenge activity on Count.It.

  • Count.It can connect to most popular fitness tracking apps, including Apple Health, Google Fit, Fitbit, Garmin, and Android Health Connect. Once connected, activity data related to your challenge will automatically "sync" to Count.It from your fitness tracker.

  • If your Group Admin has enabled manual data entry for your challenge, you can also enter your data directly into the Count.It app.

See below for instructions on how to add activity to Count.It it right from within the app. If you prefer to keep all your fitness logs in one place, you can also enter data manually into your connected fitness app.

Adding Activity via the Count.It App

When "manual data entry" is turned on for a challenge, you can add your activity with a few clicks, right from your challenge screen, or from your personal logs screen. On either page, tap the button with the "+" icon at the bottom right of your screen:

By default, the activity input form displays "Daily Steps." However, you can tap the activity field to select from over 140 different activity types!

Once you select your activity, input the start time and end time. For some activities, such as biking or swimming, you can also enter a distance. (In some challenges you will earn points for fitness activities based on time, while others may use distance. If you enter both values, you will be sure to get all your points!)

Once you're done, just tap the save button, and your activity will be added to your logs for any running challenges for which the given activity earns points!

Deleting Activity

While you can not edit an activity entry once it has been saved, you can delete it at any time. Thus, if you need to make a change, just delete your first entry, and create a new one! To delete one of your "manual entries" just follow these steps.

  • Go to your challenge logs page, and tap on the card for the activity entry that you would like to delete.

  • This will bring up the activity detail screen. To delete the activity, tap the delete link at the bottom of the screen.

PRO Tip: If you want to delete activity that has sync'd to your logs from a connected fitness tracker, you must delete that activity on the fitness app. You can not delete it on Count.It as it would simply re-sync!
