Every group on Count. It gets a custom invite code. Group Admins have access to the code, and can give it out as they see fit. To join your group, your friends or colleagues will download the Count. It app and create an account. During account creation, they will be prompted to enter a group invite code. When they enter your code, they will be added to your group. Once in your group, a person can join any current or future challenges.
Group admins can access the group invite code by tapping on the "+Invite" link on the group Home screen, or on via Group Settings --> Invitations screen:
Tap or click on the Invitations option to open the Invitations screen:
Tap the "share" icon to copy your group invite code, or to send it via your mail, Messages app, or any other app on your phone.
Managing Group Access
Using the controls below the invite code, you can turn off access to your group entirely, or limit access only to those with approved email address domains.
For example, some companies only allow users who have official corporate email addresses, i.e. "acmecorp.com," to join their group.
To turn off all access to your group — by anyone — tap or click the top toggle switch to fully disable your invite code.
To limit joining to specific email address domains, tap or click the second option to open the email domain restrictions screen.
To allow specific email domains to join, (a.k.a. to "whitelist" certain email domains), select the "Only people with allowed email domains can join" option. Next, enter an email domain into the "Allowed Email Domains" input field, and tap the "+" icon.
To add more than one email domain, simply repeat the process.
When finished adding email domains, be sure to tap the blue "Save" button at the bottom of the screen.
To remove a email domain from your allowed list, tap or click the delete icon to the right of the given email domain. Don't forget to tap the Save button when done!
PRO Tips:
Once in your group, users can join any of the group's active or scheduled challenges.
If a user joins a challenge that has not yet started, they will be placed in the "Starting Area" until the challenge starts.
If a user joins a challenge that has already started, Count. It will sync their activity data back to the start of the challenge.
Premium subscribers are not charged for days before the challenge has started, or after it is over.
