Launching the Count. It integration for Slack (Admins)!

Add the Count. It integration for Slack to your workspace, and invite your co-workers to join.

If your company uses Slack, you can bring your Count. It challenge action to your Slack workspace.

  • Challenge updates for the group flow directly into your chosen Slack channel.

  • Click to view the challenge leaderboards, or your personal stats.

  • Manually log your latest workout right from Slack.

  • And more...

PRO Tip:

The Count. It integration for Slack is not a replacement for the Count. It mobile app -- they're best used together. Your challengers will still connect fitness trackers via the Count. It mobile app, and there are some features that only exist in the mobile app; but, for companies running Slack, the Count. It integration for Slack is a no brainer for boosting engagement!

Add Count.It to Your Slack

It takes just a minute to add the Count. It integration for Slack to your Slack workspace. A few quick tips:

  • You must be an admin of your Count. It group. If you haven't created your Count. It group, start here!

  • Also, be sure you have the necessary permissions to add apps to your Slack workspace.

Part 1: Add to Slack

  • Tap on the Settings ⚙️ icon at the top of your Group Home screen

  • Tap on the Integrations button.

  • Tap the "Add to Slack" button

  • Follow the prompts to connect your Count. It account to Slack, and grant the requested permissions.

  • Important: If you are signed in to more than one Slack workspace, be sure you are granting permissions for the correct one! (You will see a dropdown select option at the top of the permissions screen to choose your workspace.)

Part 2: Connecting Your Account

  • Once connected, the Count. It Slack integration will appear in your workspace navigation on the left, under the "Apps" section.

  • Tap on the Count. It, and you will land on the "Home" screen.

  • Tap on the Get Started button to connect your Slack account to your Count. It account. You will grant permissions again.

Part 3: Launching the Count. It Integration for Slack

Once the Count. It integration for Slack is installed, and you are connected, you will be able to configure and launch it from your the integration's Slack home screen.

There are several available settings.

  • Set your challenge #channel. The app will deliver news to one Slack #channel. Typically, this channel is dedicated to the challenge, though it may also be the hub for additional wellness initiatives.

  • Send the Count. It launch message. When you're ready to alert users to the Count. It Slack integration, and invite them to the challenge, tap the "Launch" button to deliver invite message to your designated #channel.

That's it, you're done!

PRO Tip:

When you launch the Slack app, you establish one main #channel for all of the automated messaging, i.e. morning and afternoon reports, leaders updates, etc. This mirrors the main Feed on the app.

At the same time, if you have teams in your challenge, Count. It creates a #channel for each team, visible to the members of that team. This also mirrors the setup on the app, and it provides team members with a private conversation space. Note: A given user will only be invited to their team's #channel, they will automatically see or be invited see all the other team channels.
