Can I hide my challenge activity from others in my group?

Want to do the challenge discretely? We got you.

Count. It challenges are designed to be social events. For many people, it's fun and motivating to share challenge progress and cheer each other on. However, we understand some people prefer to be a bit more discrete. For example, maybe you don't want your boss to be tracking your extended afternoon gym sessions. 😉 Not to worry, to support everyone, Count. It offers everyone three levels of challenge "visibility.

Who Can See Your Activity?

In your Visibility Preferences, you can choose from three settings to control who can view your challenge activity:

  1. Show my activity: All members of your group can see your daily activity logs and "Today" score.

  2. Show only to my challenge team: If your challenge has teams, and you are on one, only your challenge team members will be able to see your activity log and "Today" score.

  3. Hide my activity: Only you can see your activity log and "Today" score.

PRO Tip: Count. It only shares the activity data relevant to your challenge, i.e. daily steps, workouts, meditation minutes, etc. We never share, nor do we even access, any data from your fitness app that is unrelated to the challenge.

What Information is Always Visible?

Regardless of your visibility settings, all group members will be able to see your current challenge score and rank. Your avatar will appear on the challenge "journey" path (also known as the leaderboard), displaying your total points and rank within the challenge.

What Information Can You Hide?

  • Today Score: You can choose to hide your points for the current day.

  • Activity Log: You can choose to hide your daily log of activities and steps.

How to Change Your Visibility Settings

To adjust your visibility preferences:

  1. Navigate to the main app menu.
